Dividends
In August 2022 the Board implemented a new dividend policy and proposed a total dividend of £100m for the financial year ended 31 December 2022.
An interim dividend of £50m (8.5p per share) in respect of H1 2022 was paid on 16 September 2022 to shareholders on the register on 19 August 2022. A second interim dividend of £50m (8.5p per share) in respect of FY 2022 was announced on 9 March 2023 to be paid on 27 April 2023 to shareholders on the register on 17 March 2023.

*On 6 April 2020 the Group announced that due to the ongoing uncertainty as to how long restrictions as a result of COVID-19 would be in place around the world, the Board took the prudent decision to withdraw the payment of the second interim dividend of 17.6p per share announced on 5 March 2020.
